1. Group 48 Battery

Bowler transmissions, designed around the popular Group 48 footprint, provide a secure base while remaining compatible with a GM power distribution block (not included). It is ideal for modern engine swaps and performance builds where neat wiring and easy service access are important.

The mount accommodates multiple Group 48 batteries and features an integrated bolt-on spot for a battery shutoff switch, reducing clutter and removing the need for custom brackets. To verify its real-world performance, Bowler tested the mount through repeated high-load cycles with a fully weighted Group 48 AGM battery, simulating extreme lateral forces often encountered in aggressive track and autocross situations—all without showing signs of fatigue, cracking, or deformation.

2. Rear Electronic Parking Brake

Wilwood Disc Brakes has released its popular EPB (Electric Parking Brake) kit, engineered to retrofit rear Forged Dynalite Pro Series 12.19-inch rotor brake kits. Drag and Pro Street vehicles with narrowed rearends and wider tires make it much harder to find the space needed for optimal cable routing.

This new EPB kit simplifies installation with a wiring harness and a slim computer module that can be mounted strategically, providing more routing options, especially for steel cables. Wilwood’s Pro Street Rear Retrofit EPB Brake kits can be ordered using EPB base (PN 140-18080) to directly replace existing Wilwood MC4 mechanical parking brake or upgrade the following rear brake kits from an internal parking brake (PN 140-2111 through 140-2118, and 140-3018, 140-3722, 140-5236, 140-5591, 140-5746).

EPB caliper finish options include high-gloss red or black powdercoat or 26 additional surcharge color choices. MSRP starts at $1,533.62.

3. Excelsior Bias-Look Radial

Coker Tire’s Excelsior Roadster bias-look radial tire is crafted to give the classic appearance of a bias-ply tire while delivering the smooth ride of a modern radial. Coker Tire has perfected this blend of vintage and modern, as shown by the success of its earlier bias-look radial tires.

The new product line includes five sizes, with the most popular being 600R16. Other sizes accommodate staggered fits for hot rods. The full lineup features: 450/475R16, 600R16, 650R16, 700R16, and 750R16.

Available in wide whitewall and traditional tubeless black sidewalls, the new tire is visually appealing for hot rods, classic trucks, and more. The narrow tread and tall sidewall accurately mimic the look of an original bias-ply tire. Plus, with a piecrust shoulder and vintage-style sidewall lettering, it becomes the ultimate radial tire for classic 16-inch wheels. Excelsior Roadster tires also feature a classic zigzag tread pattern with subtle siping that channels water without detracting from the vintage look.
