This replaces the Camaro’s factory steering box and draglink using their original mounting points—no suspension modifications needed. The assembly features a stronger 1-inch-diameter rack gear, providing over 6 inches of travel and a full turning radius to maintain factory-level maneuverability.
Mounted to the front of the cradle is a travel bar with Flaming River–designed inner tie rods. These connect to the factory outer tie-rod ends and adjusting sleeves to maintain the pivot geometry and turning radius of the old draglink. That means handling is unaffected.
