The innovative Krazy Paint will bring in some of the best pinstripers and artists to create Hot Rod Art that will be sold and auctioned to raise money for kids. Over 50 artists from across the U.S. and Canada will be donating their time and creativity to the hot rod tradition of helping kids. Items like car parts, panels, cartoons, toilet seats, chairs, toolboxes, mugs, and collectibles will be turned into fine art and auctioned during the Triple Crown of Rodding event.
There will be a total of four auctions, two each day of the show, where items will go up for bid. Times for the auctions are Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Items will also be for sale at the “Buy It Now” tables during show hours.
The 1 Shot by PPG Krazy Paint stage will be in the Triple Crown pit garages where seats and tables are available. Want to see what will be happening? Check out their YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-e1K7fa70ns, or check out Krazy Paint on Facebook.
Inside the buildings, entrants will compete for awards in more than 35 judged classes, including the inaugural World’s Most Beautiful Truck award presented by ARP. The winner of this coveted prize will receive $12,500 and a custom trophy. Additional awards will be presented for Best Display, Paint, Interior, Engine, Detailing, and more.
Talented artists will donate their time to the popular Pinstriper Charity Auction, which features some of the best pinstripers in the country creating art to be auctioned off for charity. All proceeds benefit the Volunteers for Veterans Foundation.
Those looking for a little friendly competition will want to sign up for the Grand National Truck Show Cornhole Tournament. With $1,000 in prize money on the line, competitors will go head-to-head in preliminary competition on Saturday and battle it out in final eliminations on Sunday.
