See You On the Other Side
Routing fuel, brake, and hydraulic clutch lines
Routing fuel, brake, and hydraulic clutch lines is often looked at as a “small and easy” project that can oftentimes have us pulling our hair out. Here’s a viable solution for getting these lines from one side of the frame to the other—via through-the-frame bulkhead fittings.

Art Morrison Enterprises (AME) has produced these bulkhead fittings for a while but they never get old, and now might be the time to get out in the shop and see if you can not only solve a problem but also enhance your hot rod’s look.

These bulkhead-type fittings are designed for use with standard 2-inch-wide framerails and available in three configurations: -3 AN male/-3 AN female, -3 AN male/-3 AN male, and AN-6 male/AN-6 male.

These fittings are manufactured in-house by AME from premium stainless steel material, making these fittings impervious to rust and corrosion.

Light Your Fire
The new Cross-Fire Cap
Performance Distributors’ Deluxe DUI for street and/or strip applications encompasses four features in one Davis Unified Ignition package.

First, the new Cross-Fire Cap allows you to route your plug wires neatly on each cylinder bank, providing the same 50,000V DUI Coil and high dwell Dyna-Module as you do with their standard Street/Strip DUI. Available only in a black cap, it can be painted to match any engine compartment’s theme, also allowing the sleek look of your plug wires to be well organized.

Second is the Adjustable Slip Collar with 7/8 inch of adjustability. It’s great for decked heads or a milled block, which changes the distance between where your distributor rests on your intake and where it meshes with your cam gear.

Third, a Carbon Ultra-Poly composite gear is used, making it compatible with any camshaft (solid, hydraulic, factory roller, or steel billet roller cam), which solves wear problem.

Every DUI is calibrated on a distributor machine, providing a smooth advance curve, instant throttle response, and more power. The mechanical advance works in conjunction with the vacuum advance, preventing engine damaging detonation.

Shifting Was Never So Easy
AxiShift and AxiShift Pro image
If the location of your manual shifter lever just doesn’t seem to “feel right” look no further than Lokar’s new patent-pending AxiShift and AxiShift Pro. The AxiShift series of shifter adapters gives an almost-unlimited range of adjustment, allowing you to orient your shifter lever into the perfect location.

Available in two versions, the standard AxiShift and the AxiShift Pro, both allow you to make precise adjustments by providing 360 degrees of axial rotation of the shifter lever as well as having the ability to tilt 15 degrees in any direction. The standard AxiShift bolts onto a TREMEC TKO 500/600 and T56 Magnum shifters, whereas the AxiShift Pro requires replacing the shifter stub and ball joint assembly in the TKO shifters. The AxiShift Pro has all the features of the standard AxiShift but adds an additional level of both horizontal and axial adjustment. As with every Lokar product, both are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA.
